A Super Body Care Matrix moment....

At the end of the first Matrix movie, after Neo has defeated the agents;  he's in a telephone booth telling the Matrix just what he's going to do with the Matrix....

Neo : I know you're out there...I can feel you now. I know that you're afraid. You're afraid of us, you're afraid of change...I don't know the future...I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end, I came here to tell you how this is going to begin. Now, I'm going to hang up
this phone, and I'm going to show these people what you don't want them to see. I'm going to show them a world without you...a world without rules and controls, without borders or boundaries. A world...where anything is possible.

Neo : Where we go from there...is a choice I leave to you...

Neo hangs up the phone, as he steps out of the phone booth, and puts on his sunglasses.
He looks around the street for a moment, and then flies off.

is the same pinnacle of life that I feel at this very moment...

And I expect my success to be propelled, because the world is ready for my products, and I think I'm gonna do a great job being a spokesperson to usher people into a new way of thinking about their purchases in body care.  I didn't arrive at this point so that I could contribute to all the crap of the world; instead I came to revolutionize it.
They do know I exist. They are afraid of change, because for some, it will mean losses in a  self-promoted mindset. But we're going to show them what they don't want you to see; a new way of health, empowerment, and without the need for drugs for every rash, itch, and pain.

Where we go from here.. I leave up to you.

“I have a friend that used special soap for after training and when he stopped using it, he got a staph infection.”

I hear this a lot.  My response is, “It’s probably because you’re using products made with chemicals to disinfect your skin.”
What does that mean?
“Products made with Chemicals” are products with ingredients like triclosan or other “Active Ingredients” with hard-to-prounounce names. These ingredients have been created in a lab.

Why would I say that products made with chemicals were the cause?
When products made with chemicals are used frequently, it throws the PH level off, and also kills your little skin army. Here’s why….
Our skin is rather amazing, for 2 major reasons:
•    It has a PH level of 4.0-4.4.  That is acidic.  Bacteria likes acidic. If it’s not acidic, bacteria falls off the skin.  For reason of the next bullet, acidic is GOOD.
•    At any given time, we have 10 to the 12th power (10x10x10x10… …) of FRIENDLY bacteria on our skin.
It might as well be another ecosystem living on YOU. Call it a skin army.  When you nuke it with chemicals..you annihilate a population of friendly bacteria that help PROTECT YOU.  You just nuked your army.

Plant oils like those in Super Body Care products are Peppermint, Tea Tree, Rosemary, Lavender.
Plant oil properties have been documented for centuries to fight fungi, viruses,  bacteria, parasites, indigestion, and soooo much more!  Plants are here to HELP us.

We share a very fundamental relationship with plants.    What we exhale (CO2) is what plants inhale.  What plants exhale (Oxygen), is what humans and other animals inhale.  We sustain each others lives.  Why wouldn't plants also offer healing qualities too?

I hope this stretched your brain. ☺
Thanks

Super Body Care is sold in Japan and Ireland, and donated to Africa and Haiti!

Just recently, Super Body Care has aligned its purpose with going international!  This means big things, because people know what's good for them! We recently donated our Body Wipes to an organization that helps folks in South Africa.  They used the Body Wipes to cleanse in the absence of available showers while on their mission!  Additionally, we are working with our connection in the Coast Guard, to send a box of wipes to cleanse any of our own Americans, as well as any Haitian folks in need of hygiene.
Our products supplement the immune system.  They don't "nuke" the surface of the skin like commercial brand products using lab-created antibacterials. Our active ingredients are Peppermint, Rosemary, Tea Tree, Lavender.
Recently we sent our second shipment of product out to Defend U Ireland, an MMA gym!
As well as getting Japan on the map as distribution, this is VERY exciting.
Additionally, we made contacts this past weekend with military and hope to send Body Wipes overseas.   Thanks for all your purchases!   And thank you for all of your great feedback and compliments!

Your skin, human weaponry

I’ve set up a table at many events and had opportunities to talk with several athletes.  Some brag, “I’ve NEVER gotten ringworm!!” And some regretfully admit, “I just step on the mat and I GET ringworm”.  There you have two extremes: one with the “Rockstar” immune system, and one,  not so much.  And then you have all those people in between that make up the average.
Have you ever seen a video of a big fish, that has lots of small fish swimming right next to it? Feeding frequently from the surface of the big fish’s skin/scales?  They co-exist, and benefit each other.  It’s like a mini eco-system, and every animal (including you) has a similar makeup. It’s a perfect cooperative, and it also happens on the surface of your skin.

At any given time, your skin’s surface has 10 to the 12th power of bacteria (10x10x10x10x10….totaling 12 times), mostly friendly bacteria, that call your skin “home”.  This is called your “skin flora”. This type of bacteria is usually friendly, and called mutualistic, or in easier terms, beneficial, just like those little fish and big fish we mentioned earlier.  To put it in even simpler terms, these friendly bacteria hold down your neighborhood like gangsters, and if some unsuspecting pathogen decides to take residence, these bacteria gangsters are not allowing it.

Well if these friendly bacteria are so gangster when it comes to pathogens, then why do we still get an infection?  Great question. If you’re cleansing frequently with aggressive cleansers, like alcohol, or lab-created antibacterials like triclosan, etc., it will reduce the effectiveness of the bacterial alliance formed on the surface of your skin, your “skin flora”. Repeated use of aggressive cleansers “nuke” the surface of your skin.  An open wound doesn’t help matters either.

Human Weaponry
In addition to your bacteria brigade, your skin is responsible for manufacturing weapons, “antimicrobial peptides” to reduce microbes of bacteria, fungi, and viruses.  This is where, man is not created equal, and we each have a slightly different immune system based on the DNA that was handed to us at birth, AND how well we maintain our health.  Experts have identified that Vitamin D3 has a LOT to do with the production of the antimicrobial peptides.  Consider getting your blood tested for Vitamin D levels.  Historical trend indicates that Americans are almost always deficient in Vitamin D3.

Skin PH
Typically, our skin’s surface PH is 4-4.4, meaning acidic.  An acidic environment is more likely to aid in production of Antimicrobial Peptides.  Again, when repeatedly using harsh cleansers, it changes the PH of the skin surface and jeopardizes your ability to naturally fight off offending bacteria, fungi, and viruses.

So you can see the importance of hygiene, and keeping that delicate balance of cleanly hygiene, while not jeopardizing this precious ecosystem and skin flora that makes up your external immune ecosystem.

Super Body Care produces gentle, yet effective skin care products made with plant oils (nature) that have been documented for hundreds of years to demonstrate properties that fight fungi, bacteria, viruses, and parasites.

If you look around us, our ecosystem is surrounded by plant life.  What we exhale, is what plants inhale.  What animals inhale, is what plants exhale.  Oxygen and CO2.  One cannot deny the relationship we have with plant life.

You’ll find our products leave you feeling clean, protected, and maybe even addicted.
Check our website to learn about the latest test results demonstrating antimicrobial action against MRSA (staph) and e.Coli.  This is the best news EVER!  http://www.SuperBodyCare.com

H1N1: Was it exaggerated?

Many of you may be friends on my personal Facebook page.  If so, you'll know I blogged the bejesus out of H1N1 hype, fact, stastistics, and most importantly, shed light on the H1N1 vaccinations.

Have you heard any recent doom and gloom about H1N1? No.  That's right, because there isn't much.  So now, Monday morning quarterbacks are starting to criticize. Some of it is very valid, and some of it.... eh, I think we needed a kick in the pants!

Article: Did the WHO exaggerate the H1N1 Flu Pandemic's Danger?

This URL is an article written about over-hyping H1N1.  Here's my take.

Each year the flu kills hundreds of thousands of people. This is a known fact that repeats itself every year.  This is not new news. Instead, news teams added extra hype to this figure by making it sound like new news! That was a problem. We were receivingVALID statistics, but with lots of alarming emotion without qualifying the "why"!
Flu season happens every year.  Every year, we should expect to witness a different flu strain, or one that's become "trendy" again. That's just how it goes.  Next year won't be any different!

But the silver lining that statisticians (nor media) can't capture is how we've learned better ways to keep our germs to ourselves, or avoid infecting ourselves in the firstplace, aka hygiene.  For example, how many of you have reinvented the sneeze?  Instead of sneezing into your hands, you sneeze into the inside of your elbow.  I do.
Or how many of you have washed your hands consciously after touching public doorknobs, etc?
I believe this H1N1 hype has served a great purpose!  It has created AWARENESS!  Hygiene Awareness!
This is why Super Body Care created the I love Swine flu campaign! Swine Flu has created awareness and the need for great products like ours, that don't use any harsh antibacterial chemicals, yet still are effective against bacteria. In fact, check out some independent test results that demonstrates Super Body Care wipes have antimicrobial properties against MRSA (staph) and e.Coli. Test Results

Now, I do believe that some pharms, gov't, and other stakeholders had money on their minds when H1N1 pandemic gained momentum and fear over the summer.  And now that there are 50+ million unwanted doses or canceled orders, it does make me sneer a bit that someone's going to be eating those costs that were caused by fear.

Are you waking up yet America?  :)
I love you!

Spreading "the word" at LA FIT EXPO

Super Body Care just attended LA FIT Expo this past weekend, Jan 22 & 23, at Los Angeles Convention center.  Special thanks to Tracy and David for their help this weekend!!!   THANK YOU for making it a success!!!
We handed out samples all weekend long of our Wipes, Shower gel, Walnut scrub and Soap bars.  People were forming a line around our corner booth to make sure they got samples!  It was truly exciting! Clearly, people are getting smarter and smarter about the use of chemicals on their skin, and avoiding the commercial-based antibacterial ingredients.  People even tried their samples on Saturday night and came back on Sunday to take advantage of event pricing and make their purchases.  We even had a repeat customer come back from an event in San Diego in December to tell us he was the only one is his gym who didn't get staph!  He bought 5 big bars on the spot!

What's great is the timing couldn't be better for some recent monumental news that confirm the validity of testimonials just like that!!!  Recently, we tested the antimicrobial effectiveness on MRSA (staph) and e. Coli.  The results were successful, so certainly all weekend long, we bragged and showed people the report demonstrating antimicrobial properties!!!

What do people find valuable when talking with us?  Facts. Awareness. Products that prevent.
There were several good conversations with customers.
What helps are these really "cute" but really evil bacteria and fungi that we have on display. They make great conversation starters, like......

30% of the population carries colonies of staph in their nose or other nooks and crannies.
1% of the population carries colonies of MRSA in their nose or other nooks and crannies.
Staph multiplies at the rate of every half hour, therefore, it's imperative to cleanse after skin to skin contact or using equipment.
Athlete's Foot is the same fungus as Jock Itch.  ;)

We  made friends with lots of great people from the military, cell biologists, The Green Expo, MMA, body builders, athletes, power lifters, teachers, navy, those with sensitive skin, actors,  screen writers (after all, we were in LA!), and people who look for products made as natural as possible!

Please check out our new Super Body Care website.  It's been redesigned to provide jam packed info and monthly specials. This month you have until January 31st to get 23% off,  8 oz Shower Gel for $9.99.

With every purchase made online at SuperBodyCare.com, we will include samples of our other products.

How is MRSA different from Staph? Why is it a Superbug!?

MRSA never existed until the 1960's. Even then, it was an infection usually contracted in the hospital.  Now, MRSA has hit locker rooms, schools, and MMA gyms, to name a few.
Statistics state that IF you've ever been treated for a staph infection any time previously, there is a higher likelihood that you'll get MRSA.
MRSA stands for Methicillin-Resistant Staph Aureus.  What does that mean? It's a particular strain of staph that cannot be treated with a large spectrum of antibiotics. Originally , staph mutated and became resistant to penicillin.  So in 1959, the lab scientists created methicillin antibiotic, and staph mutated once again making it resistant.  As it stands now, MRSA can only be treated by a couple antibiotics, so technically, it's REALLY Multi-Resistant Staph Infection, which some people call now. That also assumes your Dr. is skilled in identifying that you're not responding to the antibiotics that treat a standard staph infecton.
Why did MRSA not exist before?
MRSA was just staph before it evolved into MRSA.  MRSA happens when a patient affected with a staph infection doesn't complete the entire round of antibiotics a Dr. prescribes. For example, we've all done it where we feel healed from a sinus infection, but you don't take the remaining pills.  We may think the infection is gone but there are some stronger bacteria remain.  Those bacteria that survive , become EVEN stronger, in the case of Staph, it mutates to a resistant form of staph, and so there you have MRSA.
This is why the statistics are higher for someone who's been treated for staph infection before.  The odds are, it's possible not all the antibiotics were completed, there will be resistance in future infections.

Here's some interesting stuff...
Starting 25 years ago, Norwegian doctors prescribe fewer antibiotics than any other country, so people do not have a chance to develop resistance to them.   Because of that, they have almost a zero incident rate of MRSA.  Norway MRSA article
This should demonstrate to you, how antibiotics open Pandora's box of disease.
What should you take away from this?
Consider taking antibiotics as a last resort. Do not take antibiotics as a first measure. Your first line of defense is bed rest and healthy diet.   But if you do have to take them, consume ALL of them.

We promote our Super Body Care wipes as method of prevention of staph.  After training, you should immediately wipe down all areas of the body that come in contact with any other people, equipment, or gear (like pads/protection).  Make your hands a priority to clean often as they spread bacteria like wildfire to not only other people; yourself!!

Stay clean!!  Stay safe!
